Not really, because ranch dip is overrated and gross. Hummus is,
however, everyone's new favorite snack dip/spread/standalone food, and
with good cause. It is delicious, nutritious, delightful and
insightful, good with veggies, pita, chips, a spoon, a fork, your
hands, your face and more.
While it is a breeze to make
(chickpeas, tahini (sesame paste), garlic, lemon juice, olive oil,
blender, electricity, mouth, mmm), it's easier to just buy it at the
store. This raises a tough question for the uninitiated: which brand is
best?
