Merrill Garbus, a/k/a tUnE-yArDS, brings her kaleidoscopic, lo-fi loops of world-inspired drums, ukulele, bass, and vocals to town following the release of her sophomore 4AD record, w h o k i l l. She’s blending the same experimental folk, funk, and Afropop influences as always, but this time with added horns and a generally more expansive sound.
