Jerzyk has an agreement to sell his blog

 JerzykInside1

Earlier this year, in a story on the RI blogosphere, I broke the news that my friend Matt Jerzyk plans to sell his groundbreaking blog, Rhode Island's Future.

The details remain to be revealed, but Matt now says he has an agreement in place.

What does Matt have to say about his future?

The last few months have really been a crossroads for me.  After many, many months of discussions, I have entered into an agreement to sell RIFuture.orgI have stopped writing for the Phoenix.  And I have resigned from several boards of directors.  Now, I am absolutely thrilled to be dedicating 110% of my energy and my passion to understanding my legal profession and becoming the best attorney I can be.  And, I am equally thrilled to be spending more time with my wife, my two sons and to be buying a house very soon.

Matt deserves a lot of credit for furthering the cause of blogging in RI, and for showing how bloggers can play an important role in reporting news and views. I know he'll do well with whatever he sets his mind to.
