Come Support Boston MC, Victim of Gun Violence, Tomorrow (Wednesday) Night at Red Sky

For security reasons, I can't tell you which local rapper was recently the victim of a shooting. But here's what I can tell you: he's in stable condition - laid up in the hospital - and he needs some help getting back on his feet. Naturally, other active members of the Boston music community are coming to the rescue as best they can.

Details of tomorrow's concert are on the flier above. And before you start unleashing anti-hip-hop rants about how dude deserved to get shot (Herald readers - I'm talking to you), just know this: the victim was an active member of the Peace Boston network, in which artists record music and throw benefits for the purpose of cleaning up the streets.

It's a sad irony for sure. More on this to follow, but for now, if you're in the Faneuil Hall area this Wednesday night (November 11), you should stop by. There's nothing more fulfilling than doing the right thing and getting your ass shaken at the same time.
