Here's the original post from Saturday:
Evan Dando was seen hanging out at Great Scott last night, and it now looks like the Lemonhead will return to play the Allston rock club in November. And he’s bringing Juliana Hatfield on stage with him.
Dando and Hatfield will perform together as a duo for a Fenway Recording Sessions show on Nov. 1. Great Scott will officially announce the gig on Monday, and tickets are expected to go on sale Tuesday.
The two are also playing shows together at New York’s Mercury Lounge on Sept. 29 and 30. When those shows were announced earlier this month, Dando released a statement saying "Juliana and I first met and started playing music together when we were 19. Since then Juliana has only gotten better and better. Now it's like playing with someone I'm a huge fan of and totally revere."
Hatfield chimed in with: "In the past when I worked with Evan, it was always in a strictly auxiliary capacity -- backup singing, bass playing -- but now that we will be on equal footing I think we can do a lot of damage. I've always thought that Evan was an underrated songwriter... his god looks and anti-establishment attitude have overshadowed his skills."
