More than a decade after they burst into international consciousness — and three years after the release of their last studio album — the most popular Parisian-robot electronic dance music duo in history are enjoying a major resurgence. They’ve regained their status as hipster-DJ staple — did you go to a party last year and not hear “One More Time”? — and showed up all over Top 40 radio, MTV, and the Grammys (in the robot-flesh) thanks to Kanye West’s megahit “Stronger” (which is essentially just West stammering over their 2001 song “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”). Throw in all the digital and traditional slobber spilled over their triumphant “Alive 2007” tour and subsequent live album of the same name, and Daft Punk love may be, uh, stronger than ever.
