• On July 10 ETERNAL OTTER RECORDS will be releasing its next slew of vinyl singles with a cool gig both in the Narrow Gauge museum and on the train itself. Seven-inches by JESSE PILGRIM AND THE BONFIRE, SAMUEL JAMES, D GROSS, and OVER A CARDBOARD SEA are all on tap, and they'll be playing to celebrate. It's an early show, and trains are always on time, so be there by 5 pm.

• Formerly a frequent BiMPy nominee, ANDI FAWCETT's been out of the scene for a couple years, but she's now back with DOUBTING GRAVITY, featuring SLY-CHI drummer DAVE HENAULT and MARION GRACE bassist JOSH PRESCOTT, and a solo album called Say It Anyway, which ought to be released before fall. Look for Fawcett at the Big Easy July 16.

• The MALLETT BROTHERS release their debut album at the Empire July 10. Check back next week for a review.
