A busy weekend ahead at Firehouse 13, starting with FALL & BOUNCE, MATTERA, and THE CAN'T NOTS on FRIDAY (the 24th), followed by TONY JONES & THE CRETIN 3 on SATURDAY (the 25th); both shows are $6 at the door, dial 401.270.1801 for info. Also on Saturday, get ready to party at the Downcity stunner the Dorrance for CIRQUE DE VILLE, "an early century Parisian-inspired menagerie of dancers, stilt walkers, jugglers, tarot card readers, live music, and more." Miss Wensday & the Cotillions will guide the way. Admission is $30 at the door ($100 for VIP including open bar), call 401.521.6000. And don't miss out on the legendary Cowboy Junkies playing an intimate set at Fête ($25, $45); grab tix online at fetemusic.com or call 401.383.1112 for ticket availability. Meanwhile, the DOUBLE DECKER DANCE BAND gets busy at Roots Café (401.272.7422). The Met is the sole place to be on SUNDAY (the 26th) for the 2012 RI MUSIC HALL OF FAME show featuring John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band and Roomful of Blues. Doors at 6 pm, and proceeds will go toward building the Museum to be housed in the Hope Artiste Village, call 401.729.1005. In the spirit of Fat TUESDAY (the 28th), hit the Roots Café dance floor with THE MANGO TRIO, or stop by the Fête Lounge for a freebie featuring KRIS HANSEN, ASHLEY ROOT & THE TUBERS, and THE ABOMINABLE SNOW BAND; all-ages, doors at 7 pm, and $2 Gansett tallboys!
