Music seen: 2008 in preview

In spite of the pretty blasé concert calendar around the end/beginning of the year, many area clubs are already selling tickets for shows up until spring and beyond. Here’s a guide to some you might want to buy early for, a few of which have already been rescheduled due to recent snowstorms. And take special note of mid-to-late February, which brings the long-awaited arrival of Black Mountain to Portland and a killer series at the Music Hall in New Hampshire.
