re: VIDEO OF THE WEEK: exclusive Cave In DVD preview
Good thing there's been screaming in their music long before their "last couple recordings." Maybe you should check out their first couple recordings before you go on talking about things you clearly know nothing about.

re: VIDEO OF THE WEEK: exclusive Cave In DVD preview
I'm happy that one of the bands that got me into hardcore and alternative music is still playing and playing well. I first saw cave in almost 10 years ago and have such an appreciation for the musicianship and character of thier music. Both the brutal and the ambient.

Ok, so Mike's an idiot, lol
Caleb's scream compliments Steve's scream/singing REALLY well. Feel free to disagree but before you do, I would recommend listening to those albums again but this time with the ears on your head, rather than the one in your sphincter.
I love the new EP and the direction they're heading in.
Brut-iful stuff.

re: I'ma let you finish, Where The Wild Things Are. But my Spike Jonze movie is the best movie of the year!
I'ma let you finish Carly, I'm really happy for you but, you are one of the dumbest bitches of all time, of ALL TIME! In your rush to jump on the Lets Hate Kanye But Really Just Say We Do And Then Go Buy All Of His Music train, you failled to get your facts straight. Kanye didn't leak the video, a friend of Spike Jones leaked the video and Kanye assumed that it was ready to be released and posted it on his blog.
Carly: could you stop being so damn stupid for a fucking moment and get your facts straight?
Crazy how mister attention grabber deserves a second look huh Carly!?

Among other things, the only way to protect yourself from spy devices and irritative calls is to use <a href="www.jammer-store.com/.../a>. Disable mobiles around you.

re: Click, click: What U2 hears when they hear U2
To answer the original question from the article:
"Tech peoples: someone tell us an easier/cheaper way to patch into a rock band's monitor signal -- there's gotta be one, right?"
There isn't a cheaper or easier way to do it. The trick with sennheiser (and shure. and all other tour-quality wireless equipment) is that the wireless signal is encoded so that only the same model version of belt back / mic / transmitter / receiver can receive the signal.
For instance. If you were to take a Shure wireless microphone and set it to the exact same frequence as a Sennheiser wireless mic receiver, you would see that there was RF (radio frequency), but not be able to understand anything that was coming out of it.
Same thing with In-ear monitors. If you were trying to listen in to, say, Bono's mix. and he's using Sennheiser G3 IEM system. And you take a shure PSM-600. or whatever, and lock on to the exact same frequency. you're going to hear nothing but static.
So the short answer is. you need to match it to a similar product. If they're using the Sennheiser G2 or G3 system. you'd have to have a similar beltpack. same goes for Shure. or anything else.
