Rhode Island has problems. We all know it. Unemployment, political corruption, the Providence College basketball team.
But if the state's hardcourt horrors are beyond remedy, our other challenges are not. Or so says a small band of smart, innovative folk working — in this corner and that — on a far-reaching Ocean State revival.
These people don't get a lot of attention in our humble public discourse. Indeed, the dominant image of the state, even internally, is one of dispiriting inertia.
