Rawr: HTH's
Colonial Drones album cover.
Ever fond of a cryptic literary reference, HALLELUJAH THE HILLS have revealed very little about their new album cycle, except to drop a little Joyce: "If you want to be Phoenixed, come and be parked." Frankly, we think they're just fishing for a feature. And they shall have one. But in the meantime we're counting down the days -- two months! and some hours! -- until the second HTH album, Colonial Drones, drops on Misra. To help pass the time, we've been plastering the disc's first single (or at least first freebie download, same diff) all over everything we can find, including WFNX's weekly local-music spotlight show, New England Product. Here it is for your iPod:

HTH play the Provincetown Rocks Festival downa Cape on Thursday, July 23 at the Vixen, 336 Commercial Street in P-Town, with the Luxury, the Bon Savants, Freezepop, and others. UPDATE: Ooops! HTH frontman Ryan Walsh just checked in to say that the band will NOT be playing P-Town rocks: they're spending the summer breaking in a new drummer. In other news, the song above is still really good. Carry on.
