22 MORE PHOTOS: Passion Pit at Best Music Poll 2009
When we ran into PASSION PIT frontman Michael Angelakos a few hours before his Best Music Poll set on Saturday, he was just passing through Government Center to take his first shower in three days: the band was just coming off a swing of festival dates and their late-night TV debut on Jimmy Fallon, and were about to make the hometown debut of their new configuration, in which Angelakos gets out from behind the keyboard and sings like a madman. We heard some complaints from the beer garden about the sound, so we're streaming the soundboard audio on-demand over at wfnx.net for all you drunks to hear what it was supposed to hear like. (We'll have video later this week.) Also grab the interview the band did with WFNX from the City Hall Plaza live broadcast, and check out photos of their fantastic set.
