Boston Music Poll 2011: Last chance to catch these nominees live before voting ends May 12!

All right, this one goes out to all you procrastinators. You know who you are. Still wallowing on your couch in footie pajamas, drinking beers, and hoovering Lo Mein to the soundtrack of Two and a Half Men re-runs every night? We feel it's our responsibility to let you know that that's just plain sad and, furthermore, it's musically irresponsible. The polls for BMP 2011 close on Thursday, May 12 and if you haven't gotten out and heard at least one of the many nominees that have rolled through town over the past couple of months then we fear there may be no hope for you. But redemption is still within your reach. These hometown, and a few national, nominees all have gigs around town this week. Get out and check em' out- before those bed sores get gangrene- and then vote for your nods in Boston's Best Music Poll 2011 while there's still time. Be a chooser, not a loser and all that.

Razors In The Night (Boston Punk) are at the Middle East upstairs on Saturday @ 8 pm

The Resurrectionists (Boston Roots/Americana) are at the Midway Café on Saturday @ 9 pm

Janelle Monáe + Bruno Mars (National R&B + National Pop Shit) are at the Agganis Arena on Sunday @ 8 pm

Yoko Miwa (Boston Jazz) is at Ryles for a jazz brunch on Sunday @ 10 am

Guillermo Sexo (Boston Video- "Neon Lights") are at Zuzu on Monday @ 10 pm

Sleigh Bells (National Breakthrough Act) are at the Paradise Rock Club on Tuesday @ 8 pm

Florencia Gonzalez (Boston Jazz) is at the Lily Pad on Thursday, May 12 @

Eldridge Rodriguez (Boston Male Vocalist) is at the Middle East upstairs on Thursday, May 12 @ 8 pm

Razormaze (Boston Metal/Hard Rock) are at Church on Thursday, May 12 @ 9 pm
