Driven to extremes, 2

I had been skeptical about disgruntled filmgoer Sarah Deming's lawsuit stating, among other things, that the film "Drive" might rouse anti-Semitic violence. I didn't think it was likely to incite violence of any kind. Until I saw this story about Tiger Woods fan Brandon Kelly, who assaulted his idol with a hot dog.

Woods was attempting to sink a putt during the Frys.com Open when Kelly threw the wiener at him (Woods missed the shot). Explaining the attack to the "Santa Rosa Press Democrat," Kelly said, "I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie 'Drive.' As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'"

Could the fact that Woods was playing on the "links" have anything to do with Kelly's attack?  Or that Woods used a "driver" to get on the green? Does the possibility that the meat missile was a Hebrew National frank have anything to do with it?

There's a lot more going on here than I first thought.
