Expedient Romney photo op of the week

This just in, from the governor's press office:

June 1, 2:45 p.m--Governor Mitt Romney will present a gubernatorial citation to Jeffrey Chin and William Small of King Philip Regional High School recognizing them for their admission to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Really, has there ever been a more shamelessly opportunistic politican?

Check out this article in the Globe about the former Civil Service Commissioner who is now suing our nominal governor. When the guy got some bad press, Mitt stepped up and explained, "I don't want to do this, and I don't agree with them, but my senior staff is unanimous that I have to ask for your resignation. I don't want to do this, but I am outvoted." Sounds like Mitt. Always there to take credit for the good news and blame others for the bad news.
