Beatty: Ogo Sees Dead People

Republican candidate for Senate Jeff Beatty is accusing his opponent in the GOP primary, Jim Ogonowski, of voter fraud.

In a letter to Secretary of State Galvin, Beatty passes along a claim of a false signature on Ogo's nomination papers -- and adds that there are "deceased persons’ signatures on additional James Ogonowski nomination papers."

The rumor has been going around that Ogonowski may be shy of the 10,000 signatures he needs to qualify for the ballot. I'm pretty sure that authorities don't count the ones from the grave.  If he doesn't have 10k legit signatures, it would be an embarrassing end to what, in my eyes, was an ill-advised campaign in the first place.

First, GREAT headline... Second, this story is yet another example of why the republican party remains the 3rd party in a two party State (the liberal Dems and the conservative Dems)...

Actually, Michael Goldman is partially correct: The MassGOP is fourth in a four party state: liberal and conservative Dems, the Green-Rainbow Party, and MassGOP.
