  Lost and under-reported in the press:  last week, the Congress (on 9/23) and Bush more'n likely has already but quietly signed a $25 Billion bailout for the Detroit auto industry.  Did the Detroit auto makers put country first and ask for a delay on their bailout so that Congress could concentrate all the more on the mortgage meltdown and other financial failures?  Did De-e-e-e-troit put the country first? Well, of course!  Ya say ya wanna buy a green car?  Lemme show ya a sporty 4-cylinder hatchback right over here.  As you can see, it comes in a nice forest green.
