O'Connell Out At Econ. Dev.

A mere week after this reporter socked him with a B- grade, the Patrick administration has announced that Dan O'Connell is out; he has been Secretary of Housing and Economic Development for two years.

He is being replaced by the current undersecretary of business development, Gregory Bialecki, who I singled out for brief praise in that same article. Bialecki is one of the Bay State's seemingly endless supply of Harvard Law/Hill & Barlow people -- as is the Governor, of course.

there seems to be a harvard problem with the 'columnist'. is this a brandeis problem or is it because so many remainders of the phoenix are left in ART's lobby every week?

in all reality, it's probably because one hunts ducks where ducks are. talent appears to gather in cambridge. but of course, the unabomber is crimson as well and mr. patrick has yet to seek counsul from him, yes?
