[free download] Night Fruit's 'Triangles' EP

Hey so on Friday we tweeted (@BostonMusicBlog) that local trio Night Fruit were giving away a free demo download of their upcoming Triangles EP.

Well, a funny thing happened over the weekend -- we never stopped listening to it. From the slow rumble-growl of opener “Sea Blood” -- our MP3 of the Week on July 22, ahem -- to the holy shit it’s the ghost of early Sunny Day Real Estate vibe in closing jam “Lover,” this teaser collection no doubt has us amped up for a proper release from the trio made up of Amanda Dellevigne and Jonathan Gill formerly of Hot Box (RIP) and Luke Sullivan of Left Hand Does (still going strong!).

This should hold us over nicely, and in the meantime, check the April live clip of Night Fruit performing Charlie's Kitchen in Harvard Square. Promising stuff all around.
