It’s been a stellar run for Kingsley Flood since taking home “Best Local Roots” acts in our Best Music Poll and getting the Cellars by Starlight treatment earlier this year. Boston’s finest Americana quintet got doused with affection by NPR in August, leading to a remarkable boost in online record sales, shot a new video for “Quiet Quiet Ground” and recently got the attention of Counting Crows front man Adam Duritz, who caught their CMJ show at Arlene’s Grocery in New York last week. Hell, Duritz wasn't just hanginaround, he even tweeted and twitpic’d about it.
Tonight, Kingsley Flood make their debut on the Paradise big stage alongside Australian brother-sister folk duo Angus & Julia Stone. After tonight’s gig, the Floods then round out 2010 with a handful of Northeast dates and christen the new year at the Rock and Roll Hotel down in DC. Not a bad way to be. Here’s the full itinerary:
