DOM-ination? Astralwerks' vulgar display of power

DOM's sound is so next-wave post-everything, the darling Worcester buzz band have now taken to wearing blurred-out t-shirts in their press photos. But uhh, so what's really underneath this primal concrete smudge shown above?

It's a Pantera shirt!

Talk about a vulgar display of censorship. What does Dom's new label Astralwerks, which re-releases the still-awesome Sun Bronzed Greek Gods EP on February 15, have against Pantera?

Word on the street is the new label, which is owned by Virgin/EMI, had the image blurred out. We're at a loss to explain why -- band t-shirts have been around almost as long as band photos, and hell, it's not even Pantera's pot leaf image or the guy-getting-screwed-in-the-ass original Far Beyond Driven album art we're talking about here. This bit of "fabric hostile" doesn't seem offensive (though it might be mall-bought post-Great Southern Trendkill-era). It can kinda/sorta be seen on Mr. Dom himself down below, via an image we found on his Facebook.

RIP Dimebag.
