Win a free copy of Dante's Inferno
Not to get all allegorical on you or anything, but we hear that making it to the final level of Dante's Inferno
is like fighting your way through the very depths of hell. But don't
abandon all hope, ye who game here; we mean that in the best possible
way.
Your mission? Rescue the soul of your one true love,
Beatrice, whose soul is currently being held captive by that wily
bastard Satan in his underworld bachelor pad, armed with nothing but a
scythe, a Holy Cross, and a serious axe to grind. This very
loose interpretation will no doubt raise the hackles of any actual
Dante scholars, but take this game for what it is -- a blood-soaked
battle royale between good and evil -- and we're guessing you'll have a
blast. (The favorable comparisons to God of War certainly don't hurt.)
The interblag's been abuzz about this title for quite a
while now; and whether you've scoffed at its 'roided-up take on classic
lit, or you're itching to butcher some hell-bound wraiths, admit it:
you're probably curious to see how this plays out.
And
you won't have to wait much longer, as the game hits shelves on
February 9. But why brave the ravening hordes at GameStop, when you can
have Dante's Inferno delivered right into your hot little hands for free? Enter here for a chance to win a copy of the game for Xbox 360 or PlayStation3, courtesy of EA.
