TerrorThon 2010 at Somerville Theatre
Face-Melting Mayhem, Burlesque Spookshows, and a Cult Horror Classic: J. Cannibal's Feast of Flesh 10 at the Somerville Theatre
For nine fright-filled days, king of horror burlesque J. Cannibal, has shocked the Somerville Theater with a screening of sadistic horror-porn The Human Centipede, a performance from the scantily clad Satanists of Spookadelica, and plenty more at the first-annual TerrorThon fest.
The action continues until October 2nd, when perennial zombie fanatic (and real-life undertaker), Cannibal hosts his 10th annual zombie rager Feast of Flesh. The frightful night will begin with live music from Planetoid, whose self-proclaimed mission is to "enslave the human race with transmissions of face-melting rock." Barring any instances of actual irreparable damage of the face, Planetoid will be followed by special guests Black Cat Burlesque, a horror troupe bent on "putting the BUMP back into the night" and offering the thrills of striptease neo-cabaret with the chills of a raucous spookshow. Finally, Cannibal will screen his hand-picked favorite "alien-zombie-splatter-camp-classic" Night of the Creeps, featuring interplanetary parasites, an 80s style prom, and heaps of zombie mayhem. To top it off, free gruesome goodie bags will be given to all, and Cannibal will award a number of prizes to those donning the most ghastly zombie threads. Show starts at 10pm. Get your tickets while they last!
